Searching for some rhyme in all this reason

Under Construction

I have a problem. I don't know just who I am a lot of the time.

So as means of trying to alleviate this problem, I toy around with a lot of self-help type stuff. Tests and such are fun! Granted, all of it must be taken with a few grains of salt, but it's at least food for thought, and if all else fails, one can always get a good chuckle from various people's attempts to group the human race into nutshells.

But first, a short treatise on my faith and why I sometimes do or say the things I do. It could be much more involved, but it's adequate for my purposes here.
For many thousands of years, people have been looking to the stars, and trying to explain the world around them in relation to this. Hence the ancient art of astrology was born, and lives on to this day.

I personally am a Libra with a Virgo moon, which heavily influences certain aspects of my character. I'm still learning how to calculate the rest of my chart, and perhaps when I'm done I'll find out how I'm _supposed_ to be.

Astrology also has its fair share of dergoatory jokes, and one fun astrological synopsis is a prime example.

Psychologists have also tried to group us according to how we act, what we admire in others, and what we idealize for ourselves.

The Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator test is a very thorough test of personality based on these factors, but one must have a psychologist or someone similar administer the test. A simpler form of the test, the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, gives a pretty good indication of which category an individual will fall into.

I personally started out as an XNXJ on this test, meaning that I was fairly well undefined, but in subsequent testings, I usually come out as an INTJ, or an Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judger.

Then we get down to the sillier stuff, a million tests and codes that we use to tell others who we are. Right now this list has little rhyme or reason, so just look and play at will, and I'll add more links when I can and maybe even organize them at some point! (Oooooo...)

The Goth Test (v 2.1) (haven't taken it yet)
The Goth Code (too extensive to list here)
The Purity Test(s) (7/96: 67%)
The Enlightenment Quiz (not taken)
